We are continuously monitoring information from local and national health agencies and taking action to minimize the risk to our customers and personnel.
Purchasing a Pool During COVID
All of our inground pool sales are available through a phone appointment and video conferencing. You can choose which type of pool you want online. If you need help choosing your pool, you can call us at any time or sign up for a virtual consultation about your inground pool.
Operations During COVID
Our construction side is operating relatively unaffected other than some delays with government agencies such as permitting and inspections. We are very busy on our construction side so be sure to get on our schedule ASAP. We understand that because of the coronavirus and stay-at-home orders, this is the perfect time to make your home an oasis. Please know we are working as quickly as we possibly can to get you enjoying your time at home.
In-Stock Pool Selection
We have responded by pre-stocking our construction supplies for all pools that have been paid for and since we build 100% in-house we are currently able to control deliveries and construction fairly well. If anything changes, we will update you immediately on a per-project basis. While we are working at your homes please maintain appropriate social distance so we can stay well and continue to serve our clients.
If you or anyone in your household has symptoms of the coronavirus, you are required to let us know before our swimming pool contractors or pool design team visit your home. We are working hard to protect you, your home, and our team.
General Health and Safety
We are taking this threat to everyone’s health seriously, and encourage you to do so as well so we can limit exposure, and hopefully be over this huge inconvenience sooner rather than later. The governor has asked people to monitor their body temperature and not leave their homes with elevated temps. Please do not enter our stores with a fever or if you have not stayed at your home other than for essential shopping. Our employees do not want the risk of infection and we need to be well in order to continue to serve you and our families.
The CDC recommends the following procedure for making a bleach solution to clean your home using household bleach https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/disinfecting-your-home.html. Parrot Bay Pools & Spas carries liquid pool chlorine which is approximately twice as strong as regular household bleach. The bleach solution recommended by the CDC can be formulated by substituting the recommended amount of bleach with only half the amount of liquid chlorine.
